Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Catering Chef, Banquet Chef, or similar culinary role.
• Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and contemporary cooking techniques.
• Ability to manage high-volume food production in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Valid Food Handler's Certification or ServSafe certification preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct and motivate kitchen staff.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and execute high-quality catering menus for events of varying sizes.
• Coordinate food production timelines to ensure on-time, flawless event delivery.
• Oversee food presentation, plating, and quality control for all catered events.
• Manage kitchen prep, mise en place, and catering logistics.
• Collaborate with front-of-house and event staff to ensure seamless service.
• Monitor food costs, portion control, and minimize waste.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health code standards.
