Job Summary

Summary: Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under supervision. Ensures the accurate execution of all events during the shift. Sets up and serves at functions; cleans the event area during and after events; breaks down the setup and leaves the area neat and clean; returns leftover food and equipment to the catering facility promptly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions.
2. Logs and maintains food temperatures.
3. Arranges tables and decorations.
4. Sets up buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items according to standards.
5. Serves food and beverages to guests.
6. Thoroughly cleans the location after the event.
7. Returns food, beverages, and equipment to the catering facility.
8. Distributes and collects customer comment cards.
9. Stocks, cleans, and maintains catering facility and equipment.
10. Provides friendly, courteous service at all times.
11. Maintains knowledge of menu and products.
12. Ensures a clean and safe work environment.
13. Follows safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
14. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and TABC certification.
