Job Summary

Summary: Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or loads them into dishwashing machines, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation.
2. Washes pots, pans, and trays according to procedures, maintaining sanitation standards.
3. Polishes silverware using appropriate equipment and techniques, ensuring cleanliness.
4. Ensures compliance with safety procedures.
5. Maintains proper temperatures and chemical levels as per standards.
6. Keeps dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
7. Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to meet sanitation standards.
8. Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other food prep surfaces.
9. Removes trash and sanitizes trash cans.
10. Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
11. Assists with loading and unloading supplies and products.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
