Job Summary

Summary: Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain. Ensures all events are executed accurately. May drive a catering delivery truck. Sets up and serves at functions; cleans up afterward; returns leftover food and equipment promptly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assembles and delivers food and supplies for catered functions.
• Logs and maintains food temperatures.
• Arranges tables and decorations.
• Sets buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items.
• Serves food and beverages to guests.
• Cleans location after events.
• Returns food, beverages, equipment, and utensils.
• Distributes and collects customer comment cards.
• Stocks and maintains catering facilities and equipment.
• Provides friendly, courteous service.
• Maintains knowledge of menu and products.
• Ensures a clean and safe work environment.
• Follows safety and sanitation policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license may be required; must obtain a food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit if required by law.
