Join to apply for the CATERING ATTENDANT (ON CALL) role at Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services.

We are hiring immediately for on-call catering attendant positions at SJFC Haffey Hall, 3690 East Avenue, Rochester, NY 14618. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: On-call, with days and hours varying. More details provided upon interview.

Requirement: Previous banquet or event catering experience preferred.

Pay Range: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under supervision. May drive a catering delivery truck. Sets up and cleans event areas, and returns leftover food and equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assembles and delivers food and supplies for events.
2. Logs and maintains food temperatures.
3. Prepares tables and decorations.
4. Serves food and beverages to guests.
5. Ensures cleanliness during and after events.
6. Returns equipment and leftover food to the catering facility.
7. Collects customer feedback via comment cards.
8. Maintains catering facilities and equipment.
9. Provides friendly, courteous service.
10. Maintains knowledge of menu and products.
11. Follows safety and sanitation policies.
12. Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Must obtain a food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit if required by law.
