CATERING ATTENDANT (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time CATERING ATTENDANT positions at Richard Stockton College, located at 101 Vera King Farris Drive, Galloway, NJ 08205. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules. Days and hours may vary. More details will be provided during the interview.

Requirement: Previous catering experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay Range: $15.49 to $18.25 per hour.

Job Summary

Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under supervision. May drive a catering delivery truck. Sets up and serves at functions; cleans the event area during and after events; breaks down the setup; returns leftover food and equipment to the catering facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assembles and delivers food and supplies for catered functions.
• Logs and maintains food temperatures.
• Prepares tables and decorations.
• Sets up buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items.
• Serves food and beverages to guests.
• Ensures the location is cleaned after the event.
• Returns food, beverages, equipment, and utensils to the catering facility.
• Distributes and collects customer comment cards.
• Maintains catering facilities and equipment.
• Provides friendly and courteous service to guests.
• Maintains knowledge of menu and products.
• Ensures a clean and safe work environment.
• Follows safety and sanitation policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license may be required.
• Must obtain a food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit where required by law.
