We are hiring immediately for a full-time CATERING ATTENDANT position.

Location: Intuit SD - 7535 Torrey Santa Fe Road, San Diego, CA 92129. Note: online applications accepted only.

Requirements: 2 years of previous catering experience preferred.

Pay Range: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour

Job Summary

Summary: Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain. Ensures accurate execution of all events during the shift. May drive a catering delivery truck. Sets up and serves at functions; cleans event areas during and after events; breaks down setups; leaves areas neat and clean; returns leftover food and equipment promptly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions.
2. Logs and maintains food temperatures.
3. Arranges tables and decorations.
4. Sets buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items according to standards.
5. Serves food and beverages to guests.
6. Thoroughly cleans location after event.
7. Returns food, beverages, equipment, and utensils to the catering facility.
8. Distributes and collects customer comment cards.
9. Stocks, cleans, and maintains catering facility and equipment.
10. Provides friendly, courteous service at all times.
11. Maintains knowledge of menu and products.
12. Ensures a clean and safe work environment.
13. Follows safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
14. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license may be required; must obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit if required by law.
