We are hiring immediately for full-time CATERING ATTENDANT positions.

Location: Nixon Peabody Rochester - 1300 Clinton Square, Rochester, NY 14604. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm. Schedule may vary for evening events. More details provided during interview.

Requirements: Previous catering experience preferred.

Job Summary: Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under supervision. Ensures all events are executed accurately. May drive a catering delivery truck. Sets up, serves, cleans, and returns leftover food and equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assembles and delivers food and supplies for catering events.
2. Logs and maintains food temperatures.
3. Arranges tables and decorations.
4. Sets up buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items.
5. Serves food and beverages to guests.
6. Cleans location after events.
7. Returns food, beverages, and equipment to the catering facility.
8. Distributes and collects customer comment cards.
9. Maintains catering facilities and equipment.
10. Provides friendly, courteous service at all times.
11. Maintains knowledge of menu and products.
12. Ensures a clean and safe work environment.
13. Follows safety and sanitation policies.
14. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Must obtain or possess a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit where required by law.
