Job summary

Gourmet Dining & Chartwells Higher Education at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ is hiring for full-time and part-time Catering Attendant roles. Responsibilities include delivering and serving food at scheduled functions, setting up event spaces, and maintaining safety and sanitation.

Prior catering experience is preferred, a valid driver's license may be required, and training is provided. Compensation ranges from $16.00 to $18.50 per hour, with benefits discussed during interview.

Qualifications

• Prior catering experience is preferred.
• Valid driver's license may be required; must possess or able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain.
• Ensures the accurate execution of all events during shifts.
• Sets up and serves at functions; cleans event area; returns leftover food and equipment to the facility.
• Stocks, cleans, and maintains catering facility and equipment.
• Maintains a friendly, courteous service attitude at all times.
