Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring a Catering Attendant at Kean University, Union, NJ. The position offers a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, with some weekend flexibility and a pay range of $18.00 to $19.00 per hour.

Prior banquet catering experience is preferred, and a valid driver\'s license with permits may be required. As a Catering Attendant, you will deliver and serve food at events, set up and break down setups, and ensure a safe, clean work environment while maintaining product

Qualifications

• Banquet catering experience preferred.
• Valid driver\'s license may be required; must obtain a food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under supervision.
• Sets up and serves at functions; cleans event area during and after events; returns leftovers and equipment promptly.
• Assembles and delivers all food and supplies to scheduled locations.
• Maintains and logs food temperatures.
• Stocks, cleans and maintains catering facility and equipment.
