Job summary

Baptist Health Lexington is seeking a Catering Attendant for a full-time 1st shift within the Food & Nutrition Services Department. You will coordinate events, set up and deliver meals, serve guests, and ensure meals meet dietary and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities include setup/breakdown of spaces, billing support as needed, and maintaining safety and cleanliness across catering operations. Training provided for entry-level candidates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• No experience required; training provided.

Summary Job Description: Catering Attendant Full Time 1st Shift Food Service Baptist Health Lexington’s Food & Nutrition Services Department supports patients, staff, and visitors by preparing and serving nutritious meals while following dietary requirements, food-safety, and sanitation standards. The department handles food preparation, tray assembly and delivery, cafeteria and catering services, cleaning, and equipment maintenance. Staff work closely with patients and healthcare teams to ensure meals are accurate, timely, and appropriate for individual dietary needs. Provides efficient catering support by setting up event spaces, serving guests, maintaining cleanliness, and completing event cleanup and breakdown. Ensures food, supplies, and equipment are properly returned while responding promptly and professionally to staffing and customer needs.
