Job summary

Pacific Seafood is seeking a Category Manager to lead strategy, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration within Procurement. This role supports growth and performance of the category, coordinating with sales, supply chain, and vendors.

The ideal candidate brings strategic leadership, data-driven decision making, and a track record of building sustainable categories, with travel up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive category management experience or equivalent.
• Expert knowledge of category management and proven track record.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time or more.

Responsibilities

• Sales and Marketing Strategy Management, including budget and plans for the category.
• Supply Chain and Vendor Relations, supplier service levels and procurement.
• Market Analysis and Forecasting, price forecasts and margin analysis.
• Training and relationship building with sales, inventory planning, and compliance.

Education

BA/BS degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field

Minimum 5 years of progressive category management experience

Demonstrated expert-level knowledge of category management

Ability to travel up to 50% of the time or more

Master's degree in business administration
