Job summary

US Foods is seeking a seafood category professional to source, pursue, secure, and develop high-potential seafood opportunities within the marketplace. You will implement the seafood strategy across the region, providing strategic counsel to district and regional sales managers.

The role drives KPIs, collaborates with merchandising and marketing, and trains sales reps on category features while building relationships with top customers. Travel and on-site collaboration are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years sales experience in food service or food manufacturing.
• 20% overnight travel required.
• Strong knowledge of seafood species and seasonality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research customer requirements, menu design, and market trends in seafood.
• Drive seafood share growth strategy with merchandising and sales leadership.
• Communicate market conditions and weekly talking points to the sales team and top customers.
• Develop species strategy with NPD/NLP and train reps on key features and benefits.
• Build relationships with top tier seafood customers and vendors.
