Job summary

Chewy is seeking an analytical Category Analyst to own category performance, vendor onboarding, and assortment strategy. You will negotiate business terms and develop category roadmaps, collaborating with finance, catalog, and product teams to drive growth.

The role emphasizes strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies. This is a hybrid position based in Florida with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

BS/BA degree in Business Administration, Economics, Commerce or related analytical area.
1+ years in eCommerce, buying, account management, product management, category management, consulting, analytics, finance or marketing.
Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills (Excel, SQL).

Responsibilities

Maximize product category sales by leading vendor onboarding to maximize selection.
Lead strategic projects and develop process improvements for team efficiency and performance.
Integrate analysis into a cohesive category strategy or project roadmap.
Conduct research, collect data, monitor trends, analyze data, and forecast for our online business.
Work cross-functionally with supply chain, private label, finance, catalog and product teams.
