Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a Category Product Architect to join our Berkeley Heights, NJ office. You will lead medium-to-large projects, manage cross-functional teams, and drive financial and stakeholder outcomes in a complex environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in project management with proven ability to handle risk, budgets, and multi-stakeholder alignment. Onsite in NJ, with a focus on delivering high-impact programs for Services PM.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent first-level university degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management or related roles/business functions.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects of moderate complexity, risk, and business impact.

Responsibilities

  • Internal Project Delivery: Manage the delivery of medium to moderately complex projects at the local or sub-regional level.
  • Oversee projects with medium to high levels of risk and complexity.
  • Ensure project objectives, timelines, deliverables, and quality standards are met.
  • Manage project budgets in accordance with the approved business impact and financial targets.
  • Project Financial Management: Manage project financials and ensure projects meet or exceed approved budgets.
  • Develop and maintain accurate, reliable financial forecasts for management.
  • Monitor project performance against financial targets and proactively identify risks or variances.
  • Provide regular financial updates and recommendations to leadership.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Effectively manage relationships with mid- to senior-level stakeholders.
  • Communicate project status, risks, milestones, and business impact to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Facilitate alignment across cross-functional teams to support successful project delivery.
  • Project Team Management: Lead and manage internal and external project resources, typically overseeing teams of up to 20 individuals.
  • Ensure project team members have the appropriate skills, resources, and support needed to successfully deliver project objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for team members' skill development and professional growth.
  • Provide input for performance reviews and recommend development opportunities for project team members.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and results-oriented project environment.

Job Description

We are seeking a Category Product Architect to support our office in Berkeley Heights, NJ.

Education & Experience Required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent first-level university degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management or related roles/business functions.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects of moderate complexity, risk, and business impact.
Knowledge & Skills
  • In-depth understanding of project management principles, methodologies, processes, and best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of Services operational policies, processes, and methodologies applicable to project management.
  • Demonstrated expertise across multiple areas of project management, including planning, execution, financial management, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership.
  • Ability to apply project management methodologies to complex business situations and drive successful outcomes.
  • Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience contributing to and participating in Services Project Management (PM) initiatives and practices.
  • Profession community. On the PMP Certification path.
