Position Summary:

This role leads sourcing strategies for private-label and contract-manufactured chemical products, managing supplier relationships, negotiations, and quality assurance to support our construction industry clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage Private-Label Vendors (40%) - Develop sourcing strategies, negotiate, onboard new vendors, ensure compliance, and analyze market trends.
2. Manage Chemical Contract Manufacturers (40%) - Collaborate with R&D, benchmark, negotiate, and support international formulations.
3. Sourcing & Supply Management (20%) - Build supplier relationships, drive cost savings, report KPIs, support cross-functional teams, and conduct spend analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Chemistry, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field
• 5+ years in sourcing, procurement, or category management in chemicals preferred
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, and analytical skills
• Knowledge of chemical formulations, regulations, and global sourcing
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects

Additional Requirements:

• Travel 25-30%
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, stand, sit, and push/pull as needed
