Position Summary:

Lead sourcing strategies for private-label and contract-manufactured chemical products in the USA and internationally within the construction industry. Manage vendor relationships, negotiate agreements, and ensure quality and supply chain reliability.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage Private-Label Vendors (40%):
   • Develop sourcing strategies to improve cost, quality, and market share.
   • Negotiate contracts and identify new vendors.
   • Ensure compliance and market trend analysis.
2. Manage Chemical Contract Manufacturers (40%):
   • Collaborate with R&D to select and evaluate manufacturers.
   • Negotiate pricing and explore new manufacturing options.
   • Support international formulation implementation.
3. General Sourcing & Supply Management (20%):
   • Build supplier relationships, drive cost savings, and monitor KPIs.
   • Support cross-functional teams and conduct spend analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related field.
• 5+ years in sourcing, procurement, or category management, preferably in chemicals.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of chemical formulations and industry regulations.

Additional Requirements:

• Travel 25-30%.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and pass pre-employment physical.
