Job summary

The State of Georgia is seeking a Category Manager in the Department of Community Health. You will lead a specialized procurement category, develop and execute sourcing strategies, and manage vendor performance to maximize value while controlling costs.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business and extensive experience in inventory, purchasing, or supply chain management, including managerial responsibilities.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in accounting, business, or related field.
• 7+ years in inventory, purchasing, or supply chain management with 4+ years in a managerial role; or 2+ years at lower managerial level.
