Job summary

Sysco Virginia, LLC is seeking a Category Management professional to support the execution of corporate category strategies within the OpCo. You will assist in product assortment updates, supplier negotiations, and execution of local initiatives to optimize inventory and drive category performance.

The role emphasizes collaboration with sales, supply chain, and procurement teams to implement corporate requirements and improve pricing integrity and availability across markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience in retail, wholesale or distribution.
• Strong ability to manage conflicts and multi-task in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute Category Management initiatives within assigned categories.
• Support local supplier relationships and corporate core suppliers.
• Communicate with planners, suppliers, brokers, sales team and customer service.
