A leading company in logistics is seeking a Category Manager to oversee enterprise-wide category management strategies. The role involves strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and collaboration with internal stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in sourcing and project management, along with excellent communication skills. Leads the development and execution of holistic, enterprise-wide category management strategies, including strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, diversity, and risk management initiatives. Develops, executes, and manages sourcing strategies using the Company's sourcing methodology.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in supply chain, business, finance, mathematics, or other quantitative discipline.
Minimum five (5) years work experience in sourcing, financial analysis, or related field. A related advanced degree may offset the experience requirement.
Excellent knowledge of project management, current technology tools/advances, and database/analytical tools. Good interpersonal skills. Strong written and oral communication skills.
Experience and knowledge with Railroads.
This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the salary information represents the job level minimum and maximum. Actual starting pay will be determined by experience, market level, location, and other factors permitted by law. Additional pay, premiums, or bonuses may be available. The Company offers health, vision, dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
U.S. Pay Range: $6,511.62/month - $9,081.99/month.
Remote work will be considered based on business need.
