A leading company in logistics is seeking a strategic sourcing expert to lead category management initiatives. This role involves developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and supporting negotiations. Candidates should have a strong background in supply chain and project management, with excellent communication skills. The position offers competitive pay and the possibility of remote work based on business needs.
Leads the development and execution of holistic, enterprise-wide category management strategies, including strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, diversity, and risk management initiatives. Develops, executes, and manages sourcing strategies using the company's sourcing methodology.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in supply chain, business, finance, mathematics, or other quantitative discipline.
Minimum five (5) years of work experience in sourcing, financial analysis, or related field; a related advanced degree may offset the experience requirement.
Excellent knowledge of project management, current technology tools/advances, and database/analytical tools. Good interpersonal skills. Strong written and oral communication skills.
Experience and knowledge with Railroads.
This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. Actual starting pay will be determined by experience, market level, location, and other factors. Employees may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonuses. The company offers health, vision, dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
U.S. Pay Range: $6,511.62/month - $9,081.99/month.
Remote work will be considered based on business need.
