An established industry player is seeking a strategic sourcing leader to drive category management initiatives. In this dynamic role, you will develop and execute sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and lead internal projects. Your expertise will be crucial in evaluating category information and benchmarking to recommend effective sourcing strategies. Leads the development and execution of holistic, enterprise-wide category management strategies, including strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, diversity, and risk management initiatives. Develops, executes, and manages sourcing strategies using the Company's sourcing methodology.
Essential Functions
Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in supply chain, business, finance, mathematics, or other quantitative discipline.
Minimum Experience
Minimum five (5) years work experience in sourcing, financial analysis, or related field; a related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirement.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent knowledge of project management, current technology tools / advances, and database / analytical tools. Good interpersonal skills. Strong written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience and knowledge with Railroads.
Pay Transparency
This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the salary information represents the job level minimum and the job level maximum. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job, and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision, and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
Pay
U.S. Pay Range: $6,511.62 / month - $9,081.99 / month.
Additional Details
This position will be hybrid in Collierville, TN, Dallas, TX, or Pittsburgh, PA. Candidates must live within a reasonable commutable distance.
