Job summary

Red Bull North America, Inc. is seeking a Category Manager to partner with the Director of Category Development to drive category growth for national small format customers across the US.

The role blends analytics, strategy, and collaborative execution with Sales, Marketing, and eCommerce teams. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical and communication skills, a track record in category management, and experience with syndicated data and POS analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Accounting, Data Analytics, or related field preferred.
• 3-5+ years of experience in consumer goods, retail, or syndicated data with a focus on category management, sales, business analytics and/or shopper insights.
• Experience with data sources like Nielsen, Circana, NPD, Numerator, 84.51, dunnhumby, SPINS, Stratum, Spectra/demographics, SPSOneScreen, Symphony Retail AI/EYC.
• Ability to distill complex data into simple stories.
• Demonstrated ability to build indispensable partnerships with retail customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and cultivate business relationships with external retailer contacts to establish Red Bull as a partner for category management.
• Oversee assortment/merchandising optimization, new product introductions, and pricing/promotional planning/evaluation.
• Create analytics and selling stories to identify risks, opportunities, and performance gaps.
• Guide execution of Category Management resources to support strategic plans for Customer Teams.
• Lead dialogue with retailers to focus on category growth opportunities.
• Support the customer business planning process aligned with strategic goals.
• Turn insights into actions by executing category plans and identifying opportunities for retailers to capitalize on.
