The Opportunity

Are you looking for an opportunity to drive strategic procurement solutions within a company? CACI’s Category Management Team is seeking a strategic-focused procurement professional to execute, implement, and manage CACI’s Category and Commodity Enterprise Agreements.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Category & Commodity Manager to join CACI’s team. The successful candidate will develop and implement category strategies, manage supplier relationships, and optimize procurement processes for assigned categories and commodities.

This individual should be a seasoned procurement professional with skills in analyzing industry trends, developing category strategies, managing pricing, and fostering supplier relationships.

As part of Category & Commodity Management, you will collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to lead the execution and management of enterprise-wide agreements, driving cost savings and risk reduction through negotiations and operational efficiencies.

The ideal candidate will be a passionate advocate for category management, possess strong negotiation and analytical skills, have government contract knowledge, and be capable of prioritizing and managing multiple projects effectively. A self-starter with a warrant in accordance with CACI policies is required.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute category strategies to maximize value and minimize risk.
  2. Lead sourcing initiatives and negotiate contracts for favorable terms.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement with business needs.
  4. Identify and implement cost-saving and process improvement opportunities.
  5. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging procurement technologies.
  6. Ensure proper positioning of NDAs, Reseller, and Partner Agreements.
  7. Manage RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes, ensuring all terms are documented.
  8. Lead vendor selection processes with stakeholders.
  9. Analyze software licensing and service levels.
  10. Develop KPIs for vendors and negotiate long-term strategic contracts.
  11. Monitor market conditions and supply/demand challenges.
  12. Manage vendor relationships and performance issues.
  13. Work collaboratively across departments and leadership.
  14. Position based onsite in OKC, Oklahoma.
Qualifications

Required:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of broad procurement experience, including category management, strategic sourcing, and contract negotiation.
  • Proven ability to drive savings and understand market conditions.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in spend analysis tools and Excel.
  • Experience managing RFPs and outsourcing.
  • Excellent contract negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Preferred experience with enterprise software and SaaS agreements (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, etc.).

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $42,400 - $86,900, influenced by location, experience, skills, and education. We offer comprehensive benefits including healthcare, wellness, retirement, and educational support. Learn more.
