Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is seeking a Category Management professional to partner with assigned Category Managers to execute comprehensive business plans. You will work with vendors to manage promotional offers to meet financial goals across assortment, pricing, promotion, and shelf placement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
• 2+ years in marketing, category management, or store leadership.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with cross-functional collaboration ability.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; knowledge of category planning practices.
• Strong financial acumen and data interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Category CEO to execute category business plans across assortment, pricing, promotion, and shelf placement.
• Manage promotional offer process and ensure vendor submissions meet P&L expectations.
• Build and maintain vendor relationships for timely contract submissions and financial objectives.
• Oversee seasonal/promotional inventory for corporate stores to meet demand.
• Support product life cycle through innovation launches and exit strategies.
• Maintain Not on File process as directed by category managers.
• Support ad proofing by preparing notes for Marketing and Sales teams.
• Investigate and resolve store pricing issues related to promotions.
