Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, or related work experience may be substituted
• 2+ years of related experience
• Advanced proficiency in Windows and related software applications
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, VB, and advanced macros
• Experience with syndicated data and/or space management tools
• Ability to clearly and concisely communicate relevant information
• Ability to identify and leverage relevant data to diagnose situations and identify potential solutions
• Ability to independently conduct data mining using CPG math concepts and tools
• Category Analyst/Manager Certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Support the sales team and build partnerships with clients
• Conduct high-quality analysis and synthesize multi-source data
• Evaluate item performance, assortment planning, and store clustering through the modular process
• Provide analytical insights and recommendations for category management projects
• Use NielsenIQ/Circana and retailer POS data sources for reporting
• Develop category presentations addressing business issues
• Collaborate with category management and space technology teams
• Monitor client KPIs and project timelines
• Leverage client relationships to understand retailer deliverables and category strategies
