A rapidly growing, multi-divisional company headquartered in Lancaster, Pennsylvania with services supporting all of Clark’s distribution methods in the food service industry.

Job Description

Category Analysts report on category growth, research market trends, and strategically set pricing for their product lines. They also source and onboard new products and brands and implement marketing strategies. While a Category Analyst will be an out-of-the-box thinker, they must also be analytically minded and able to compellingly present their data findings to stakeholders of their category. Candidates should be confident, creative, and desire to make an immediate impact on a busy and growing company. This position is full-time and located in Lancaster, PA, but is hybrid-friendly for those within a 1-hour driving radius.

Category Analysts serve Clark’s procurement division, which buys products for our various distribution channels (industry leading Ecommerce platform WebstaurantStore.com, The Restaurant Stores, Clark National Accounts, Clark Food Service Equipment, and 11400, Inc.). In 2023, we reached $3.6B in sales from a catalog of 450K+ SKUs.

Job Responsibilities

• Research and add new items and brands
• Collaborate with marketing teams to creatively promote product lines
• Research and strategize growing market trends to maximize profitability
• Enhance effectiveness and shop-ability of our Ecommerce sales platform
• Monitor and report category sales growth
• Create and execute projects to increase sales and gross profit
• Conduct product testing to ensure quality and consistency
