Job summary

Johnson Matthey in Pennsylvania is seeking a Catalytic Testing Engineer to advance lab capability, optimize OEE, and support cross-functional development teams. You will manage instrumentation risk, provide technical support to SCAT analysts, and lead KPI reporting to stakeholders.

This shift-focused role emphasizes safety, 5S, and continuous improvement. The position requires collaboration across lab leads, developers and management, with a strong emphasis on analytical testing, Excel/Power BI

Qualifications

Analytical testing experience.
Catalyst performance testing experience – desirable.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Collaborate to define, plan and execute projects to improve lab capability and OEE.
Prioritize risk assessment of new instrumentation and procedures.
Support testing activities to meet challenging business demands.
Provide technical resource and assistance to SCAT analysts.
Define and report KPIs on project progress and escalate delays.
Lead daily lean meetings with SCAT team to monitor safety, schedule, 5S and quality.
Manage safety, housekeeping, equipment capability and inventories; monitor testing quality and drive improvements.
