INEOS Olefins & Polymers USA is seeking a Lab Technician for the Battleground Manufacturing Complex in La Porte, TX. The role tests samples to ensure quality specs and supports process control, troubleshooting, and new catalyst studies.

You will work with the Analytical team, follow strict safety rules, and use various lab equipment including GC, ICP, and chromatography. Regular early starts may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Associate Degree preferred in Chemical Technology or equivalent lab experience.
• 0-3 years lab or operations experience in a chemical plant, refinery, or gas processing plant preferred

Responsabilités

• Support Catalyst Development Group, Technical Center, PE and PP Manufacturing as part of Analytical team.
• Follow safety/PPE rules and promote safety practices across the lab.
• Maintain SHE compliance and uphold INEOS 20 Safety Principles.
• Perform testing and analysis per procedures with proper sample prep.
• Enter results into LIMS and report calibration deviations.
• Communicate test results with internal customers and teams.
• Keep monitor samples and records; maintain housekeeping in the lab.
• Perform routine maintenance and notification of abnormalities to supervisor.
• Lead early-morning test prep shifts (~5am) once a week.
• Train in other Analytical areas and support workload as needed.

Formation

Associate Degree in Chemical Technology or equivalent

0-3 years lab or operations experience in chemical plant/refinery/gas processing
