We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Catalog Specialist to manage and optimize our supplier product catalogs, ensuring accurate, up-to-date information for both customers and internal teams. This role will oversee catalog integrity, support product launches, and enhance catalog visibility at the Customer Point of Sale. The Catalog Specialist will work closely with purchasing, operations, IT, and marketing to ensure seamless catalog management and data accuracy.
This role is Remote and can be based anywhere in the US.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize product catalogs, ensuring accurate, complete, and visually appealing content.
- Work with suppliers to obtain and manage accurate product data, images, and attributes.
- Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure catalog integrity and data consistency.
- Analyze catalog and product performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve catalog-related issues in coordination with IT, operations, and external data providers.
- Oversee product launches within catalogs, ensuring timely updates and seamless integration with inventory, sales, and marketing teams.
- Implement catalog updates related to new products, customer configurations, pricing changes, and product retirements.
- Leverage automation and technology to streamline catalog management processes.
- Train internal teams on catalog best practices to enhance effective utilization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in ACES and PIES catalog management within the automotive aftermarket industry.
- Strong knowledge of catalog management software and tools, with expertise in ACES and PIES standards.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track and interpret catalog performance metrics.
- Proven ability to collaborate across departments, including purchasing, sales, marketing, and IT.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office Suite. SQL programming knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with B2B portal administration and electronic sales is a plus.
