Ohio Cat (Ohio Machinery Co.) is seeking a CAT Technical Trainer in Columbus, OH to deliver hands-on technical training on Caterpillar machines and systems to students in classroom and shop environments.

The role includes creating presentations, designing lab exercises, and occasional overnight travel to training centers and Ohio Cat locations. Prior service and repair experience with construction or power equipment is required, plus strong communication and teaching ability.

Formación

• High school diploma required.
• At least three years of construction or power equipment service and repair experience.
• Ability to teach technical material and communicate effectively.
• Instructor or Caterpillar instructor certification is a plus.

Ohio Cat (Ohio Machinery Co.) is hiring a CAT Technical Trainer in Columbus, OH to provide hands-on technical training on Caterpillar machines and machine systems to students in classroom and shop environments, with occasional technical support on machine systems, electrical, hydraulics and electronics for its Product Support departments. The trainer develops presentations and designs lab exercises, and the role includes occasional overnight travel to Ohio Cat locations and to training sessions in Peoria and/or Cat Regional Training Centers. Requirements include a high school diploma, at least three years of construction or power equipment service and repair experience, the ability to teach technical material and strong communication skills; experience performing equipment maintenance at mine sites is highly desired, and industry, vocational or military teaching experience and instructor or Caterpillar instructor certification are a plus.
