Job summary

Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc. is seeking a Technical Training Instructor to teach the technical aspects of Caterpillar products to our employees. You will cover engines, hydraulic and electronic systems, emissions, and related equipment across multiple locations within our territory.

The role requires a strong mechanical background, excellent communication, and willingness to travel up to half of the time. CIAP accreditation will be pursued to strengthen instructional credentials.

Qualifications

• Familiar with Caterpillar construction equipment and systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to develop and organize training materials.
• Good communication and ability to consult with managers on training needs.
• Comfort with computer applications and quickly learning new systems.
• Create training materials and hands-on lab activities.
• Ability to work independently.
• Willing to attend CIAP and become accredited.
• Willingness to travel 25%–50% within territory.
• Prefer 5–10 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical training via classroom, hands-on, and online formats.
• Train Cleveland Brothers employees at multiple locations and occasionally customers.
