Job summary

Ohio Machinery Co. seeks an instructor to provide hands-on technical training for Caterpillar machines and systems to students in classroom and shop settings. The role may include occasional technical support for machine systems to Product Support departments.

Overnight travel to Ohio CAT locations and training centers may be required, and a commitment to learning new skills is essential. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in construction or power equipment service,

Qualifications

• Three years of experience related to construction or power equipment service and repair.
• Experience teaching or training in industry, community college, vocational school, or military setting is a plus.
• College and/or continued education in a technical field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach technical material in classroom and shop environments.
• Provide occasional technical support for machine systems, electrical, hydraulics, and electronics to Product Support departments.
• Travel to Ohio CAT locations and training centers as needed; some overnight travel.
