Norton Healthcare, Inc. in Louisville is seeking a CAT Scanner Technologist to perform CT imaging with safety and patient-centered care. You will prepare patients, position them correctly and ensure high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to infection control and safety standards.

The role requires a State Radiography License and plans to obtain ARRT(CT) or NMTCB(CT) within 1 year, with opportunities for growth and relocation support within the Louisville area.

Qualificações

• Temporary State Radiography License AND must obtain ARRT-CT or NMTCB(CT) within 1 year of hire

• Prepares and position patients, educates and addresses questions, ensuring age-appropriate communication and safety.
• Understands anatomy, imaging technique, radiation safety, infection control, and quality control techniques.
• Oversees and trains students providing patient care during their training.

The CAT Scanner Technologist utilizes imaging, computer and other equipment as appropriate to produce and retain high quality diagnostic images which meet or exceed department, organizational and industry standards. Demonstrates thorough knowledge of the human anatomy, physiology, as well as image quality. Applying professional knowledge, prepares patients for the procedure, educates and responds to questions or concerns. Ensures age appropriate approach to communication, safety needs, patient education and principles of physical/functional growth and development. Demonstrates an understanding of patient positioning, imaging technique, radiation safety, imaging equipment, infection control, and quality control techniques. Oversees and trains students providing patient care, treatment and services as part of their training.
