Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CT Scan Technologist for travel assignments across Oregon. The role involves producing CT scans as ordered, obtaining patient history, explaining procedures, and addressing patient concerns.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• ARRT certification may be required by state regulations or contract specifications.
• Current CPR, if applicable.
• Current health certificate required per contract or state regulation.

Responsibilities

• Produces CT scans as ordered by physicians to provide cross‑sectional images of tissues, vessels and bone.
• Obtains patient history, explains standard procedures and addresses patient concerns.
• Performs a variety of specialized tasks involved in conducting CT scans.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

ARRT Certification (if required by state regulations or contract specifications)

Current CPR (if applicable)

Current Health certificate

Job description

The CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician. These cross-sectional images provide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essential for accurate diagnostics. The CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. The CT Technologist also performs a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year of experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
• A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
