Job summary

Amergis is seeking a CT Scan Technologist to perform CT imaging across multiple healthcare facilities in Oregon. The role involves producing cross‑sectional tomographic images, obtaining patient history, and explaining procedures to patients.

The position requires a high school diploma, ARRT certification as applicable, CPR, and compliance with job-related regulations. Travel locations include Portland/Hermiston areas in OR.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One year of CT Technologist experience preferred
• ARRT certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications
• Current CPR, if applicable
• Current health certificate per contract or state regulation
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

• Produces CT scanner radiographs of specified areas as ordered by a physician
• Obtains patient history and explains procedures
• Addresses patient concerns and performs specialized CT scan tasks

Job description

The CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician. These cross-sectional images provide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essential for accurate diagnostics. The CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. The CT Technologist also performs a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year of experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
• A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
