Medical Edge is hiring a Cat Scan Technician (CT) on behalf of a client. The role is full-time with a Monday–Thursday schedule from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM. A sign-on bonus of $8,000 is available.

Medical Edge is currently hiring a Cat Scan Technician (CT) on behalf of one of our valued healthcare clients. As a Cat Scan Technician (CT), you'll play an important role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional care. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will contribute directly to accurate diagnoses and positive patient experiences.

A Cat Scan Technician (CT) who excels in this role:

• Reviews patient history and physician orders.
• Educates patients about procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice when ordered.
• Monitors patient condition and responds appropriately to changes.
• Prepares equipment and supplies, implements safety standards, and performs quality control checks.
• Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions.
• Positions patients and performs CT imaging procedures.
• Analyzes imaging results, identifies quality issues, and takes corrective action, including repositioning patients and repeating procedures when necessary.
• Enters, transmits, and reports scan results accurately.
• Participates in performance improvement initiatives and continuing education.
• Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts or units as needed.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

The requirements below represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for this position.

• Education: Associate's Degree required.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS).
• License/Certification: ARRT certification with additional certification in CT.
• Candidates who are not currently CT certified must obtain CT certification within one year of their date of hire or transfer into the position.
