Job summary

HCT Staffing is seeking a Cat Scan (CT) Technician to join our client’s dynamic team in New Mexico. This full-time night shift role offers schedule flexibility with 5x8s or 4x10s, including options 11 pm–9 am or 12 am–8 am.

You will review patient history, educate patients, prepare contrast media, monitor status, position patients, and ensure image quality. Join us to contribute to community health through accurate imaging and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and physician's orders.
• Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation.
• When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
• Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate.
• Prepares equipment and supplies.
• Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment.
• Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.
• Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s).
• Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results.
• Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure.
• Enters, transmits and reports scan results.

Job Description Schedule: this is a full-time, night shift role that offers some schedule flexibility and will work either 5x8s or 4x10s. This role could work Monday through Thursday from 11 pm to 9 am or Monday through Friday from 12 am to 8 am or 11 pm to 7 am.
