Job summary

Central Carolina Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT and X-ray examinations per physician orders, while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The role requires operating imaging equipment, documenting procedures in the EMR, and collaborating with radiologists to achieve optimal diagnostic outcomes.

Qualified candidates will have ARRT certification in Radiology, an accredited Radiologic Technology degree, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• CT certification/clearance within 1 year of hire; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality CT and X-ray examinations per physician orders and protocols.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort during imaging.
• Operates and maintains imaging equipment.
• Documents procedures and maintains EMR records.
• Collaborates with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for accurate diagnoses.
• Adheres to infection control, radiation safety, and HIPAA regulations.

How You Will Contribute

A CT Tech who excels in this role:

• Performs high-quality CT and X-ray examinations in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
• Ensures patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
• Operates and maintains imaging equipment
• Accurately documents procedures and maintain patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Collaborates with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal diagnostic outcomes
• Adheres to infection control, radiation safety, and HIPAA regulations
