Applied Underwriters is seeking a CAT Modeling Analyst to manage and analyze catastrophe exposure data across multiple lines of business. You will cleanse, validate, and prepare CAT exposure data, apply policy conditions, and perform in-depth analyses of client exposure against perils.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 2+ years of property catastrophe modeling experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry.
• Experience with SQL Server, Excel, and catastrophe modeling software; Verisk Touchstone preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and analyze catastrophe exposure data across lines of business.
• Apply insurance and reinsurance policy conditions and analyze client exposure against perils.
• Model and quantify natural catastrophe risk using catastrophe modeling software.
• Collaborate to incorporate reinsurance structures into exposure management.
