Job summary

Orion180 seeks a Senior CAT Risk & Portfolio Analyst to advance exposure management, CAT analytics, and underwriting portfolio strategies. You will collaborate with Underwriting, Product, Finance, and Technology to enhance real-time portfolio monitoring, CAT modeling, pricing support, and strategic risk decisions.

This role leverages advanced analytics, machine learning, and GIS-driven insights to drive profitable growth and strengthen catastrophe resilience while supporting cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field.
• 4+ years in P&C insurance or CAT exposure management.
• Experience with CAT models (AIR, RMS, KR) preferred.
• Ability to translate complex findings for leadership.
• Strong SQL, GIS, Python, and BI skills.

Responsibilities

• Support portfolio management across pricing, underwriting, and CAT exposure using advanced analytics.
• Analyze CAT portfolio performance, loss drivers, and risk indicators for pricing.
• Run CAT modeling workflows with AIR, RMS, KR, and internal tools.
• Monitor CAT book health across states and product segments.
• Develop predictive models for profitability and risk segmentation.
• Create dashboards to communicate insights to leaders.
