Job summary

Empire Southwest in Nevada seeks an experienced field service technician to repair, recondition, and service Caterpillar and allied machines in the field. You will prepare equipment for delivery, troubleshoot malfunctions, and diagnose engine systems, communicating findings to clients and management.

This role requires a valid CDL (if required by state), DOT licensing, and a safety-first mindset. You must have at least six months of related experience, be able to work extended overnight

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current driver’s license.
• DOT licensing, medical card, and endorsements as vehicle size dictates.
• Minimum of 6 months related experience.
• Completion of TRAIN test evaluation. Communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and failures.
• Maintain good client relations and support for corporate marketing objectives.
• Repair, recondition, and maintain equipment and components.
• Prepare service reports.
• Plan and control cost of repair jobs.
• Maintain company equipment – keep in good clean orderly condition.
• Work safely at all times and comply with safety policies.
