A typical day includes gathering and analyzing information, preparing submissions, making recommendations within authority, and supporting producer management and premium collection

Qualifications

• 3+ years underwriting experience required.
• Marketing and agency development skills/experience required.
• Analytical, results-oriented and possess a strong sense of urgency.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Underwrites and markets assigned products with intermediate risk assessment and technical underwriting expertise.
• Participates in marketing activities for business development and relationship building.
• Prepares underwriting submissions and makes recommendations within authority limits.
• Involves producer management processes including premium collections.
