Summit Orthopedics is seeking a Casual Surgery Center Coordinator to schedule procedures, register patients, verify insurance, and collect payments. The role supports five Surgery Centers (Woodbury, Eagan, Vadnais Heights, Plymouth, Minnetonka) with home base at Vadnais Heights and occasional travel.

This flexible, casual position offers shifts with no guaranteed schedule and includes a comprehensive total rewards package and opportunities for additional compensation.

Qualifications

• Frontline patient communication and high level customer service.
• Prepare patient charts, notes, labs or radiology reports as needed.
• Register new patients with demographics and insurance details.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the front line of communication to patients by answering calls and providing high-level service.
• Prepare patient medical charts and related documents for visits.
• Register new patients by collecting demographics and insurance information.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments; coordinate interpreters as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient communications and records.
• Print and distribute surgery schedules.
