Responsibilities

• Assist in filling medication orders through correct labeling, counting, and stocking practices.
• Assist in the preparation of oral and injectable medications, including intravenous admixtures and Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN).
• Prepare sterile and nonsterile medications including chemotherapy using aseptic technique.
• Distribute medications in accordance with department policy and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain documentation and ensure safe storage of medications and records.
