Qualifications

• 6–12 months of experience required.
• PA State Board of Pharmacy registration required.
• Valid driver's license and automotive insurance may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in sterile and nonsterile medication preparation and distribution.
• Fill medication orders with correct labeling, counting, and stock control.
• Prepare intravenous admixtures and TPN using proper aseptic technique.
• Maintain medication storage and inventory in compliance with regulations.
• Provide information to hospital staff, patients, and visitors and refer questions to staff pharmacists.
• Support training of pharmacy personnel and students.
