Northwestern Medicine is hiring a Medical Assistant for Primary Care at the Huntley clinic. This casual, as-needed CMA position covers vacation and sick leave with part-time hours.

Duties include patient flow support, assisting with procedures, and maintaining exam rooms, in a team-based ambulatory setting. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA certification (or eligibility to certify within six months) and BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certification as CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA or NRCMA within six months if not already certified.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsabilités

• Ensure efficient patient flow and prepare examination room.
• Assist with ECG, venipuncture, immunizations, lab testing as directed.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and inventory.
• Support physicians, nurses and care team in clinical tasks.
