Northwestern Medicine Huntley Primary Care is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant for days in Huntley, IL. The role supports physicians and nurses, maintains clean patient-care areas, and ensures smooth patient flow during 38 hours per week.

Schedule includes Monday–Friday with some Saturdays; typical shift runs 7a–5p with occasional Saturday 8a–12p. The position requires High School diploma or GED, BLS/CPR, and MA certification within six months.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certification in eligible MA exams; CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA within 6 months of employment.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• 0–2 years in a relevant role.

Responsabilidades

• Assures efficient patient flow through the site; escorts patient to exam room and prepares for examination.
• Assists practitioner with ECG, venipuncture, immunizations, and specimen collection per protocols.
• Prepares and stocks exam rooms, maintains inventory, and ensures cleanliness.
• Interacts with patients and care team to promote satisfaction and efficient visits.
• Performs delegated procedures common to the specialty area in a safe, efficient manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
