Harney District Hospital invites applications for a Casual Paramedic to join our hospital-based EMS Team in Burns, Oregon. The role requires a minimum of 2 shifts per month and involves serving a very remote area with ALS interventions as needed.

You will transport patients to the ED and support ED physicians, occasionally assisting with the most critical cases under physician direction. The department covers a large area with inter-facility transports to Bend, Boise, and other cities.

Qualifikationen

• Oregon State Licensure or eligible (Nationally Registered) and hold an Associate Degree, or 3 years' busy 911 experience.
• ACLS Provider Certification is required.
• CPR Provider Certification is required.
• EVOC program completed.
• Able to obtain PALS Provider Certification within 6 months of hire.
• Able to obtain ICS-100 and ICS-700 within 6 months of hire.
• Able to obtain PHTLS Certification within 6 months of hire.
• Able to obtain NRP Certification within 6 months of hire.

• Make independent decisions based on scope and protocols.
• Transport patients to the ED and coordinate with ED physicians and staff.
• Assist with the most critical ED patients under physician direction.
• Support inter-facility transports to Bend, Boise, or other larger cities.
