Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist Casual to join our Nevada team, serving Las Vegas and surrounding areas. This role involves venipuncture, specimen collection, data entry, and travel to clinics as needed.

You will help ensure accurate testing and excellent patient service in a dynamic, PRN schedule. The position requires a Nevada license or eligibility, 1+ year phlebotomy experience, and a flexible, customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Nevada state issued laboratory assistant license.
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist (preferred).
• Current or prior Labcorp experience (preferred).
• 1 year or more experience drawing on pediatrics to geriatrics (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
